Still finishing up your holiday shopping? You’re not alone. One of my favorite parts of living and working on the South Shore is how many incredible local shops we have — the kind where you can walk in last minute and still leave with something thoughtful, unique, and truly special.

Whether you’re shopping for a host, a teacher, kids, teens, or the person who “has everything,” here are some of my go-to South Shore shops to find that perfect gift.

Hingham Favorites

The Hermit on Green Street
Whimsical, one-of-a-kind finds you won’t see anywhere else- think jewelry, art, vintage books, and beautiful little treasures. Perfect for the person who’s hardest to shop for.

Chel Bella
High-end women’s fashion featuring brands like L’Agence, ALC, Ulla Johnson, and Mackage, with some more approachable price points mixed in. Great for a standout gift.

Best Brother Records
New and used vinyl for every kind of music lover. A fun stop if you’re shopping for someone nostalgic or just getting into records.

Ralph’s Wine Merchant
My go-to for host gifts. Their recommendations never miss, and they make choosing wine feel easy.  They also have great Champagne for your NYE celebrations!

Maggie’s Dog House

Because the fur babies deserve something special too. Treats, toys, and fun finds for dog lovers.

Sandbox Toy Shop
Classic kids’ toys and Nantucket Kids apparel- perfect for thoughtful gifts that don’t feel mass-produced.

Norwell Top Pick

Natale’s
A must-stop for elevated men’s fashion with exceptional, personalized service. Thoughtfully curated pieces, expert styling help, and yes — espresso while you shop (their service is unmatched!).

Scituate Stops

The Welch Company
Coastal-inspired home goods that feel timeless and thoughtful. Great for gifts that work year-round.

Board143
Handmade cheese and charcuterie boards, plus local wine, beer, and gourmet snacks. Ideal for host gifts or a cozy night in.

Lucky Finn Café
A gift card to a local coffee shop is always a win, especially one this cute.

Cohasset Gems

Buttonwood Books & Toys
Something for every age-  books, toys, crafts, and home goods all in one charming space.

Darilynn’s Home Presence
Beautifully curated home décor, artwork, and baby gifts, featuring favorites like Simon Pearce, Vietri, and Jellycat.

Brook & Main
A great stop for women’s and kids’ gifts- stylish, fun, and easy to shop.

Phia
Your tween and teen girls will love this shop. The cutest clothes and accessories, always a hit.

Shopping local makes the season feel a little more special, and honestly, you’ll usually find something better than what’s left online anyway. If you stop into any of these shops, let me know which one was your favorite.

Happy shopping ✨
